Athletic Director

As the Liberty North Athletic Director, Mr. McDorman has enjoyed building strong relationships with student-athletes, coaches, families, and the school community. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Liberty North community and looks forward to continuing the tradition of excellence that defines Eagle athletics.

Prior to joining Liberty North, he served as a math teacher, coach, and assistant principal. He earned his bachelor's degree from Westminster College, where he was a two-sport student-athlete in basketball and golf. He later earned both his master's degree and education specialist degree from Northwest Missouri State University.

Outside of school, David enjoys spending time with his wife, Eva, and their three children, Max, Layla, and Jack. The McDorman family can often be found cheering from the sidelines at their children's sporting events or spending time on a nearby lake or river.

Mr. McDorman is proud to support Eagle student-athletes, coaches, and programs while building on Liberty North's strong foundation of success, character, and excellence.
